P3 and P3/4 have had a fantastic afternoon today thanks to our visitor - Orienteering Specialist, Norman West!
The children have had a fun and energetic afternoon outdoors, learning basic orienteering skills by using a map of the school and its grounds. They put their cooperation skills to the test and worked together in teams to locate important resources needed to survive. The children then worked in larger groups to erect shelters - hugely important for survival.
Very well done to all of the children involved. You worked very hard! What a brilliant ending to an exciting class topic!
