Pupils in P4 enjoyed a walk yesterday to explore land use around Alyth as part of their learning on 'Farm to Fork'. Everyone enjoyed the walk; it was so lovely to visualise a lot of what we have been learning about in school.
In class we have been learning about dairy farming, 'The Story of Oats' and 'The Story of Bread'. We have also been working on our mini enterprise project 'Happy Herbs'.
Outside we have been developing our understanding of time and using outdoor maths sets to find the perimeter of rectangles.
And of course we have had lots of fun along the way!
