Here are a few photos from outdoor learning over the last few weeks. Pupils displayed fantastic teamwork and problem solving skills today when they worked together to create shelters to keep dry during the rain showers. We have been developing the vocabulary we use in writing using nature as our stimulus- today we created 'creatures of nature' and wrote a setting description from the perspective of the creature. In maths last week we created balance scales and used these to develop weighing skills. Today we have been using sticks and other materials to visualise a range of fractions and mixed numbers.
