P6 RRS Discovery trip

A few photos from p6's trip to the RRS Discovery. The class were given a guided tour of the ship and then enjoyed the 'Polar Explorers' workshop where the class were able to compare and contrast the clothing and equipment available to CPT Scott and modern day explorers. Everyone had a great day and the tour guides were impressed with the children's knowledge and understanding of Antarctica and CPT Scott's expeditions.
