Primary 5/6 are learning about the World of Work and Financial Planning this term. We have been learning about skills and attributes and the differences between them and are beginning to link these to careers. As a homework task pupils were asked to identify their likes, dislikes, skills and personal achievements. They were asked to present this in any way they wished and they have excelled themselves! From posters, pinboards and booklets to wire models, masks and powerpoints, pupils have produced high standards of work which show off the wonderful pupils they are! We will showcase their work at the forthcoming Careers Fayre at the end of May. Pupils also enjoyed a talk from local professional golfer, Bradley Neill about his golfing career to date and are looking forward to more visitors in class to speak about their careers and life experiences.
