P5/6 Mission to Mars
We have been learning all about the construction of the Mars Perseverance Rover and how all of the technology and components allowed it to navigate, communicate with Earth and safely land on the Jezero Crater on the surface of Mars. We redesigned the rover and constructed 3D models of our designs. We learned about force, pressure and propulsion and designed rockets which we loved blasting off in the playground. We have even built a rocket for the classroom! We are currently researching the International Space Station and are finding out what experiments are being done on board as well as what life is like for the astronauts living in zero gravity!
