P5 Blast Off

Primary 5 have been learning about rockets this week. We have learned that rockets need to generate enough thrust to lift off and travel at high speeds to defy gravity to reach Earth's orbit. We also learned about the importance of a streamlined design to reduce drag. We learned about Elon Musk, his company Space X and the Falcon Heavy spacecraft. We took part in an experiment to investigate how much water would generate the greatest amount of thrust to propel our rocket highest. 🚀
