All children enjoyed using 4 of their 5 senses to explore tropical rainforests during our topic introduction. We enjoyed tasting a variety of foods including chocolate, bananas and limes - lots of funny faces to be seen! We had lots of fun guessing a variety of different smells including ginger, cinnamon and pepper! Children listened to the sounds of the rainforest and uncovered clues to reveal a photograph of a range of rainforest sights!
We are all looking forward to learning more about the tropical rainforests and in particular the Congo!
