Pupils throughout the school ended a very busy and enjoyable Health Week with a visit from Chris Duke. Chris is the author of the recently published book 'Lucy's Blue Day'. Pupils heard about Chris's life story and he shared the reasons which led him to write the book. The book tells the story of a little girl called Lucy who experiences a range of emotions and for each emotion her hair changes to a different colour. The focus is on making sure that children know that ‘it’s ok sometimes to have a blue day' and encourgaes them to talk about feelings to people they can trust. It was a very enjoyable talk and we thank Chris for taking the time to come along and visit us.
