Pupils in Primary5/6 welcomed many visitors to their enterprise cafe on Friday afternoon. This proved a huge success and pupils are delighted to announce that they have raised just over £200. Pupils have chosen to donate the money to Cancer Research UK.
The cafe was a great end to learning over the term about the 'world of work' where pupils have learned and developed skills for learning, life and work. Pupils have become more confident in identifying their skills and qualities and applied this learning to prepare for interview for a role in the cafe. They were interviewed for four roles: kitchen and food preparation staff, cashiers, waiting staff and team leaders. All pupils were very professional and polite and dressed smartly - we are so proud of everyone. Huge thanks to all parents/school staff who contributed to the success of the cafe by donating and helping out on the day. A great end to the year - well done!
