Adventures into Space with P1/2!

Primary 1/2 have been learning about the sun and moon and the affects they have on our life on Earth.  They have also been learning about space exploration and the role of astronauts. During a drama lesson the children turned into astronauts. They were given their boarding passes and embarked on an imaginative space launch to explore the moon. They acted out how they would move in zero gravity, experienced a meteor shower, left their flags on the moons surface and collected souvenirs from the moon to bring back to Earth. After their tiring work, the astronauts tried out some real space food!!!
